Howard Frisk is a Seattle based freelance photographer who loves exploring the natural wonders of Washington State.
One of Howard's favorite projects was for Frommer's Seattle guidebook. A shot list of over 200 locations was provided, with less than two months to finish the project. It was completed ahead of schedule, and in the words of Frommer's Photo Editor, Alden Gewirtz:
"I have seen the first draft layout of the book, and it looks amazing. I can't believe you got so many clear, blue-sky days in Seattle. The colors are great, and so were the approaches you took to just about every shoot. Thanks again for all your help so far, and hopefully we'll work together again."
Howard's photographs have also been published in the Seattle Official Visitors Guide published by VisitSeattle.org, several editions of Scenic Washington, Washington State Wine Official Tour Guide and numerous books, calendars and travel guides.
Howard's work has been on display at Premier Gallery as well as Gallery Three in Puyallup, Washington. In 2014 five of Howard's photographs were accepted into the Northwest International Exhibition of Photography and three were accepted into the Washington State Photography Exhibition. Again in 2018 two photographs were accepted in to the Washington State exhibition and four were accepted into the International Exhibition. These are juried exhibitions. Howard published his first book, The Seven Wonders of Washington State, which highlights the seven most amazing natural wonders of the evergreen state, currently available on Amazon.com or you can purchase it directly from us via the link below.
